She educates her clients on proper portions, and designs proper macros based on the individual's height, weight and age. She recommends healthier recipes and swaps less healthy choices for healthier alternatives so her clients don't feel deprived. Having struggled with a serious eating disorder in her youth, she is both compassionate and conscientious when coaching all her nutrition clients.
Sabrina currently teaches all of her fitness classes via Zoom. After having to give up her live classes during Covid, her classes flourished on Zoom where she was able to keep her clients inspired and moving from the comfort of their own homes. Sabrina's clients are now plugging in to her Zoom classes from all over the country. She teaches four live classes weekly; two Mat Pilates classes and two high energy and unique Body Shaping classes (formerly known as "The Dancer's Workout,") which incorporate a blend of dance moves, free-weights and Pilates. Many clients who can't join her live Zoom classes choose to purchase the recordings which keep their workouts new and fresh each week.
When not working one on one with clients in her private studio, she also offers in-home personal training for those who prefer to be in the comfort of their own home.
Sabrina Tavalone has a dedicated client base with many choosing to train privately with her for over 15 years. Sabrina’s approach to her clients is to do the research based on their specific needs, fitness levels and goals. One common thread she finds among all her clients is the desire to feel better about their bodies.
One of my life goals is to help people love exercise and healthy living as much as I do so they will give it the priority it deserves. Once your body is being nourished correctly, and the body exercised the way it is designed, people become more productive in other areas of their lives as a result of their exercise programs. Our body is a divine gift with the genetics to last 120 years! The problem is that most people become indifferent to their bodies due to stress and poor lifestyle choices. I struggled over 12 years with a serious eating disorder, and overcoming this illness is what inspired me to become a trainer. I wanted to help others find balance in their lives and I can relate to anyone who feels overwhelmed by food choices and proper exercise.
By helping people achieve more energy, they start to feel better about themselves, and then the positive cycle begins with them making healthier lifestyle choices.
